Casa da Caroline

Beautiful house on the sandy beach of Morere, located in the state of Bahia, on the island of Boipeba. The village is a small fishing community, protected by a lagoon and the coral reef.

The 200 square meter summer house was restored by an architect in a sustainable and eco-friendly approach using certified wood, and solar water heater.

The house is facing the sea with a very large open space on the ground floor including the living room, dining room and American kitchen. It all opens onto a large deck with a panoramic view of the lagoon.

The first floor consists of 4 bedrooms plus an independent mezzanine and 2 bathrooms. It leads to a balcony, with a hammock, overlooking the sea.

The island - without cars- offers and unspoilt and preserved nature as well as many deserted beaches. There are numerous sports activities.

Access to the continent can either be made by sea in a speedboat- 1h- or in a traditional sailing boat - 4h-, several times a day , or by airplane from Salvador in 20mn.

The Island of Boipeda was for a long time preserved by its remoteness. It has recently opened to tourism in a durable development. Different biotopes are to be discovered such as the coral reef, mangrove, tropical forest. Numerous hikes will allow you to visit this fascinating and rich universe. The coral reef offers at low tide natural pools as well as very rich marine life. Many different activities are possible to organize from horse riding, to fishing, or whale watching. If you like nature, preserved seashores and want to discover a small village with sandy paths under the sun of Brazil, this is the place is for you.`
