Pousada Tassimirim
The Pousada Tassimirim, inaugurated in 1990 was one of the first hotels of the island of Boipeba. Surrounded by tropical nature, it is located at the end of the Boca da Barra Beach, a 15-20 minute walk from the Centre of the village.
Due to its special location, peace-seeking travellers here will find the perfect place to relax and rest. Anyone looking for a little excitement has also not too far to the village with its variety of bars and restaurants.
The Pousada consists of several bungalows built in local style and insert harmoniously into the natural surroundings.
It has a total of 11 comfortable and clean accommodations, including 5 Standard-Rooms, 3 Plus-Rooms, 1 Chalet-Suite and 2 spacious Chalet-Plus.
The lush green garden with many tropical plants, as well as the direct access to the beach are the most characteristic features of the Pousada Tassimirim.
The sea in front of the Pousada is very quiet, protected by the promontory Tassimirim and invites for swimming.
In the open and well ventilated restaurant by the constant sea breeze is served a varied, typical Brazilian breakfast: fresh juices, fruits, bread, pastries, homemade cakes and many regional specialties.
On the beach, just in front of the Pousada, an area with tables and sun loungers to relax also invites to have a caipirinha and contemplate the beautiful sunset or at night the starry sky of the island ...
A special feature is the permanent exhibition with paintings of the famous Bahian artist Bel Borba in the restaurant and in some rooms.

Chalet-Suite
The spacious Chalet-Suite has a veranda with hammocks and ocean view.
It has a Queen size double bed, a large bathroom, sofa, air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar and wardrobe.
Plus-Rooms
The three Plus-Rooms have a veranda with hammocks facing the sea.
The rooms have a Queen size double bed, a large bathroom, air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar and a wardrobe. Two of the rooms have additional a single bed for an extra person.
Standard-Rooms
The five standard rooms are located on the garden side.
All rooms have a veranda with hammock, bathroom, air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar and wardrobe.
Chalet Plus
The two Chalets-Plus have two comfortable rooms, each private entrance from the veranda and door to the bathroom.
Both rooms have air conditioning, ceiling fan and wardrobe and a minibar in the larger room. The Chalets are ideal for families or groups of up to 4 people.
